I have a mosquito bite on my face.
I sleep with my balcony doors open, and a moustique (mosquito in French) came in while I was sleeping and bit me RIGHT on my cheek. It’s huge, it’s red, and it itches.
And YES it’s a mosquito bite. Psh.
